To assist local community organisations in providing services to the Stonnington community, Council provides annual Community Grants and Arts and Cultural Grants.

Arts and Cultural Grants Program

The City of Stonnington’s Arts and Cultural Grants Program supports local organisations and art based initiatives wishing to present quality, innovative Stonnington-based activities which enhance the cultural, community and economic development of the City, including festivals and events.

Community Grants

The City of Stonnington provides assistance to eligible not for profit/charitable, organisations providing Stonnington based programs by way of Community Grants and fee waiver on the use of Council facilities to enhance services, events and social activities thereby enriching the lives and meeting the needs of the Stonnington community.

Applications for the City of Stonnington's Community Grant Program 2017/2018 are now closed. Applications for 2018/2019 will open in early 2018.

Arts and Cultural Grants 2017/2018 - Successful Applications

Council received over 45 applications amounting to over $975,000 in funding requested for the 2017/2018 round of Arts and Cultural grants.

The total pool of funds available for the 2017-2018 round was $425,000. Following a Panel Assessment process, 29 applications were endorsed by Council.
