What is your plan or vision for Council?
I want to make a difference and improve the way we do things to deliver for our community. Transparency and consultation will be an important part of the process.
I value the built form and leafy green aspects of our City and also its vibrant café culture. Intensive development along Stonnington’s main thoroughfares and the loss of precious trees are a concern and I am keen to look at ways to ensure that the amenity, character and precious heritage is maintained.
Creating more open space and protecting our local amenity will present challenges and opportunities for us.
What do you love about Stonnington?
I love the free concerts in the parks over summer and you can usually find me with a picnic up the front on the low chairs. My favourite concert is the Symphony concert featuring our very own Stonnington Symphony Orchestra.
The City of Stonnington acknowledges that we are on the traditional land of the Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri people and offer our respects to the elders past and present. We recognise and respect the cultural heritage of this land.
