Advisory Committee update - December 2017

What was the purpose of the Advisory Committee?

In November 2015, the Minister for Planning appointed an Advisory Committee to report on the application of zones that provide for residential development in metropolitan Melbourne.

Hearings

In April and May 2016, a public hearing was held to consider submissions to the Advisory Committee.  You can view the Submission Council made to the hearing below.

Advisory Committee Report

The Advisory Committee forwarded its Report to the Minister for Planning in July 2016.

Advisory Committee update - December 2017

The Minister for Planning has appointed an Advisory Committee to report on the application of zones that provide for residential development in metropolitan Melbourne and four regional cities, having regard to managing growth, proximity to transport and jobs, housing affordability and diversity.
