Yarra Trams will close Toorak Road between Osborne Street and Walsh Street from Saturday 27 February 2016 to Sunday 28 February 2016, concluding before the morning peak on Monday 29 February 2016.
During this period Toorak Road will be fully closed between Osborne and Walsh streets for traffic travelling in both directions.
The proposed closure will impact direct access to properties which abut Toorak Road, and also access to a number of one-way streets. The one-way streets which will be impacted by the closure are Ralston Street, Caroline Street South, Macfarlan Street, and Myrtle Street and will be converted to a two-way operation.
Footpaths on both sides of Toorak Road will remain open at all times during the works. Shade cloth fencing will be installed at the kerbline to provide a visual barrier to the works and a physical barrier for pedestrians.
As the tram service will not run during the works, replacement buses will be used.
Properties within a 500m radius will be notified of the works via letter drops.
