Booking a user -pays vaccination

A number of user-pay vaccines are available.  Prior to attending a session contact Council to advise the vaccine you require and the date of the immunisation session you will be attending.  Payment to be made at the session.

Chickenpox

  • Infants and children aged 12 months to 13 years (1 dose) – $74.50*
  • Individuals aged 14 years and older (2 doses, 6 weeks apart) – $149

* Note: Varicella vaccine is free to all children turning 18 months of age and born on or after 1 May 2004. Students entering Year 7 are also eligible for free vaccine as part of a long-term catch-up program.

Hepatitis A

  • Individuals under 15 years of age (Paediatric formulation — 2 doses, 6 to12 months apart) – $168
  • Individuals 15 years of age or over (Adult formulation — 2 doses, 6 to 12 months apart) – $170

Hepatitis B 

  • Individuals under 20 years of age (paediatric formulation — 3 doses at 0, 1 and 5 months) – $158
  • Individuals over 20 years of age (adult formulation ­— 3 doses at 0, 1 and 5 months) – $238.50

Hepatitis A/B (Twinrix)

  • Individuals under 15 years of age (paediatric formulation — 3 doses at 0, 1 and 5 months) – $170
  • Individuals over 15 years of age (adult formulation —  3 doses at 0, 1 and 5 months) – $262

Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis — Whooping Cough (Boostrix) 

  • Students entering Year 7,at school will be eligible for a free booster dose as part of the National School Program.
