Amendment C261

Permanent Heritage Controls for two Victorian Places

The City of Stonnington has prepared Amendment C261 to the Stonnington Planning Scheme.

Amendment C261 has been prepared to introduce permanent heritage protection to two Victorian Places:

  • 17-19 Ethel Street, Malvern (HO594)
  • 3 and 5 Avondale Road, Armadale (HO595) 

Specifically the Amendment:

  • Varies the Schedule to Clause 43.01 Heritage Overlay to include HO594 17-19 Ethel Street, Malvern and HO595 3 and 5 Avondale Road, Armadale.
  • Amends Planning Scheme Map 3HO and 6HO to show HO594 and 5HO to show HO595, with permanent heritage controls.


On 25 January 2018 the Notice of Approval for Amendment C261 was published in the Government Gazette.

The Amendment was approved in line with Council’s adopted version of the Amendment.
