The stunning Malvern Gardens will play host to a soirée of symphonic sounds, as Symphony Under the Stars provides music lovers with another free City of Stonnington outdoor event.

This promises to be a unique performance by one of Australia's leading community orchestras. 

GUEST ARTIST**

Guest artist Joe Camilleri has been performing across the globe for more than 40 years. Camilleri gained national prominence through Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons as the group’s lead singer and saxophonist with the hit singles Hit & Run, Taxi Mary, Shape I’m In and Puppet on a String.

In the mid-80s he formed part of the critically-acclaimed band, The Black Sorrows. Together they penned five top 20 albums and were best known for the classics Chained to the Wheel and Harley & Rose.  

MC

Writer, singer and broadcaster Sian Prior will be MC for the evening. Prior is best known for her freelance writing for The Age, Rolling Stone and Limelight.

CONDUCTOR

Conductor Michael Lichnovsky will return to lead the Stonnington Symphony for the third year in a row.
