Prior to amalgamation in June 1994, the City of Stonnington was comprised of the former cities of Prahran and Malvern.  The boundary between these two municipalities was Kooyong Road.

To examine the rate records for properties lying west of Kooyong Road (including the west side of the road), use the Prahran Rate Books.

To examine the rate records for properties lying east of Kooyong Road (including the east side of the road), use the Malvern Rate Books.
