InterLibrary Loans
Borrowers of the Stonnington Library and Information Service may request an Interlibrary Loan through LibraryLink Victoria (LLV).
LLV provides library borrowers with a single point of access to search the catalogues of Victorian Public Libraries, State Libraries, and Victorian-based Universities.
Access to this service is free.
Only items not found in the Stonnington Library catalogue may be requested, so please check our catalogue before making an Interlibrary Loan request.
Stonnington Library has no control over what other lending libraries may or may not lend, for example, audiovisual materials; response times from other lending libraries, their loan conditions or length of loan periods.
Borrowers must adhere to the lending library's conditions of loan.
The maximum number of Interlibrary Loan requests per card is ten (10).
Borrowers can check the progress of their Interlibrary Loan by logging into LibraryLink Victoria, using their Stonnington library card number and PIN, then clicking on My Requests.
Late or non return of an Interlibrary Loan, will result in the suspension of this service.
Place an Interlibrary loan request through Library Link Victoria.
TIPS:
- To receive email alerts concerning the progress of your requests, logon to LibraryLink Victoria, under My Account click on Account Details > Edit > Add your email address.
- If you are unable to locate an item through LibraryLink Victoria, you can still place a request using the Create Request function under My Account. Remember to include as much detail as possible about your request.
- Please avoid duplicating your requests.
