Pedometer Loan Scheme

Council's 'Out There and Active' Pedometer Loan Scheme is an initiative developed in partnership with the Inner South East Partnership in Community and Health (ISEPICH) and is supported by the Department of Planning and Community Development as part of the senior's 'Go for your life' scheme.

The scheme aims to get people walking and physically active. Pedometers act as a motivational tool for those interested in increasing their physical activity levels by calculating every step taken.

The Pedometer Loan Scheme is a simple and cost-effective way of providing pedometers to the Stonnington community and they are now available for loan from the four Stonnington library branches.
