Activity Classes

The City of Stonnington is proud to present the Free Physical Activity Classes, an intiative of the Active Living Program, a new program designed to encourage more residents to get healthy, active and “live a little”, through a range of affordable and accessible activities while meeting new friends.

Physical Activity Classes - 16 April - 29 June Term 2

Term 2 classes will be conducted in the Indoor facilities within the Stonnington Municipality on weekdays from Monday 16 April - Friday 29 June.

All classes are free of charge, cater for people of all abilities and are facilitated by qualified instructors.  No bookings are required. 

Participants are required to bring their own mats, water and need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Please note participants are required to arrive to their desired class 10 minutes prior to starting time indicated below.

Classes are not held on Public Holidays.

Monday - Tai Chi     10.30am - 11.30am

Prahran RSL, 301 High Street, Prahran

Tuesday - Gentle Yoga   9.30am - 10.30am or 10.30am - 11.30am

King Street Community Room, 27 King Street, Prahran

Wednesday - Chi Gong    10.30am - 11.30am

Chadstone Bowls Club, entry through Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park, 32 Chadstone Road, East Malvern

Thursday - Hatha Yoga   10.30am - 11.30am

Prahran Mission, Level One, 211 Chapel Street, Prahran

Friday - Mums and Bubs Fitness   9.30am - 10.30am
