Opening Hours

Summer Season - 1 October - 31 May*
Monday - Friday: 5.45am - 7.45pm
Saturday: 6.00am - 6.15pm  
Sunday: 7.00am - 6.15pm  

As of the 1st June Prahran will be changing it's hours for winter.

Winter Season - 1 June - 30 September*
Monday - Friday: 5.45am - 9.45am & 4.30pm - 7.45pm
Saturday: 6.00am - 5.15pm* 
Sunday: 7.00am - 5.15pm*

Public Holiday - Queen's Birthday Monday 11th June
The centre will be open between 8am - 5:15pm (aquatic areas close at 5:00pm)

Aquatic areas close 15 minutes prior to centre closing - The centre is closed Christmas Day and Good Friday - Public Holiday Hours: 8am - 5.15pm * Extended hours effective 8 August 2011 and will be reviewed 30 June 2012

If you're a keen lap swimmer, the Prahran Aquatic Centre is one of the finest pools in Melbourne. It has a unique cosmopolitan atmosphere and is located just around the corner from Chapel Street.

The centre features a heated outdoor 50 metre pool, toddler's pool (open during the summer months), spacious lawns with shade sails, sundeck to take in the views of the area and a relaxing spa, sauna and steam room.

Visitors can also enjoy a coffee or snack at the Bean Swimmin' Cafe.

If you would like to cycle to the centre, bike racks are available for your convenience at the front of the centre and we have lockers to secure your personal items.
