Gardening can have a positive impact on the health of our environment.

If you correctly design your garden and utilise local plants it is easy to create beautiful gardens that suit the local climate and have a low environmental impact.

The City of Stonnington, in partnership with Sustainable Gardening Australia, developed Sustainable Gardening in Stonnington, a booklet designed to to provide residents with inspiration to create a sustainable garden in their own backyards.
