Water Strategies and Plans
The City of Stonnington is proud to be a leader in sustainable water management within Australia, as it is one of only five councils in Australia to develop and adopt a Sustainable Water Management Strategy, and is the only Council in Australia to set a 50% water consumption reduction target.
Council has developed the Sustainable Water Management Strategy along with several Plans to help Council reduce water use, prepare for future restrictions and improve stormwater quality within its own operations and the community.
