Accessibility

The City of Stonnington's website was upgraded on October 2015.

The new website reflects Stonnington's vision to provide a user experience that is adaptable to the needs of our residents, owners, workers and visitors.

Using Seamless content management system, the website features easier navigation, improved search functionality and responsive design, which means that website users are able to access the information they need, when and where they need it most.

The City of Stonnington is committed to providing a high degree of accessibility and as such provides information in a range of formats (audio, visual, print). Council aims to make our publications accessible in the way we design (font and colour) and print and we aim to write in plain, simple and easy to understand English. Council also provides interpreted information across a variety of community languages as well as access to an interpreting service. As part of the upgrade, Council's new content management system allows for incremental improvements to the site to ensure it is fully accessible in accordance with guidelines established by the World Wide Web Consortium.
