Discover Your Own Backyard

The City of Stonnington, in partnership with Destination Melbourne, is encouraging residents to discover and experience all that their local area has to offer as part of a new local tourism campaign, called Discover Your Own Backyard.

The aim of the Discover Your Own Backyard campaign is to raise awareness of the attractions and visitor opportunities on offer in Stonnington. In terms of visitors to Stonnington, those who are visiting friends and relatives represent the largest group of visitors of any type.

Council is encouraging residents to share their favourite local experiences with visiting friends and relatives - this could include the beautiful Como House, Prahran Market or any one of our fantastic shopping precincts.

All you need to do is in 25 words or less is tell us what makes Stonnington a great place for a weekend getaway and  you will go into the prize draw to win the ultimate weekend escape in Stonnington.
