The City of Stonnington’s Aged Services Unit provides a comprehensive range of home and community based services, including Home and Community Care (HACC) program and activities to assist frail aged, people with a disability and their carers and families. The services are provided to assist eligible residents to remain living within their homes and in the community, and importantly aim to maintain their well being, independence and dignity.
Stonnington Aged Services is committed to the provision of services in a fair, equitable and inclusive manner to all eligible residents within the municipality. In doing so we recognise and acknowledge the diverse Stonnington community and the range of needs and characteristics within our community, including (but not limited to) cultural diversity, sexual and gender diversity, age, health, socio-economic status, faith and spirituality, and those of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, and thereby considers these aspects in relation to service provision and planning.
The services provided by Aged Services are jointly funded by the City of Stonnington and the Australian and Victorian Governments.
