MetroAccess
The City of Stonnington has a MetroAccess program that aims to make the community more friendly and accessible for people with disabilities. This program is a partnership between the Victorian Government and local councils.
Aims of the MetroAccess Program:
- Identify disability issues in the community, and planning to improve them; and
- Work with partners and networks to help the community become more welcoming.
Council's Disability Access Officer is involved in Stonnington's MetroAccess program.
Feedback and input from resident's plays an important role in identifying potential disability issues within the community, and feedback via email, mail or telephone via Council's Service Centre on 03 8290 1333 is welcomed.
