Community Transport Services
The Community Transport Service provides a safe and reliable bus service for residents over 55 years of age, and people who find it difficult to access other forms of public or private transport due to disability or frailty.
The service provides transport to libraries and major shopping localities within the City of Stonnington. Both the shopping and library services are best suited to individuals who may require physical support to reach their destination, but are able to manage independently and without personal risk whilst shopping or using the library service.
The Community Transport Service also provides transport to members of ADASS and the Centre Based Meals program.
The Community Transport Service is able to hire out 10-seater mini buses to Stonnington Community Groups. These buses are available to hire on a short-term basis and are provided at a subsidised cost. Contact Community Transport on 8290 3224 Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm for further information.
