Centre Based Meals

The Stonnington Centre Based Meals program offers a delicious and nutritious meal to eligible residents in a comfortable, friendly, social setting.

Serving Times: Meals are served between 12pm and 2.30pm.

Bookings: Only required if special dietary requirements need to be accommodated.

Each meal consists of freshly made soup, a main meal with fresh seasonal vegetables, and dessert, and is served with a choice of juice. The service takes every effort to cater for special individual dietary needs and personal meal preferences, including:

  • Vegetarian;
  • Diabetic;
  • Soft Vitamised;
  • Low salt; and
  • Mediterranean, Asian and cultural cuisines.

TheCommunity Transport Service can assist diners with transport to and from home.

Eligibility

All City of Stonnington residents who are 55 years or older, or any person with a disability and the carers are welcome to join us for a meal. There is no assessment required for this service.

How to Access

Interested residents may drop in for lunch at either centre. Please contact Council's Aged Services Department on Ph: 03 8290 3224 for more information, or to provide 24 hours notice of any special meal or dietary requirements (eg. vitamised meal).
