Delivered Meals
The Stonnington Delivered Meals service offers a delicious and nutritious meal delivered to the home to assist people who are unable to prepare a meal for themselves or have difficulty with this task.
Clients receive a seasonal menu and may choose from a wide variety of meals, allowing for individual choice, cultural cuisines, and special diets and meal requirements. Each complete meal consists of freshly made soup, a main course with fresh seasonal vegetables, dessert, and a choice of juice.
Meals include:
- Vegetarian;
- Diabetic;
- Soft Vitamised;
- Low salt; and
- Cultural cuisines.
Meals are delivered chilled so that the meal can be heated just prior to being eaten. Meals are delivered five days per week, with weekend meal provisions available. Clients are offered information on the best technique to heat these meals, however provisions can be made if a client is unable to heat the meal without assistance.
Clients receiving Delivered Meals must be home to receive the meal at the scheduled time of delivery, but also have the option of requesting multiple meals ahead of time.
