Children and Family Services

Council's Children and Family Services Department aims to create an environment where all children in the City of Stonnington are able to participate fully in a community that values and supports them.

The City of Stonnington offers a number of Children and Family Services, including Baby Capsule Hire, Childcare, Playgroups, Maternal and Child Health and Immunisation Services and an Adventure Playground.

	Childcare Services Care and education for children aged six weeks to five years.		Phoenix Park Children's Hub A new purpose built children's hub
	Immunisation Protects by increasing the general level of immunity and minimising the spread of infection.		Grow With Us Programs for children, young people, families and grandparents
	Maternal and Child Health Services Health service for families living in Stonnington, with children from birth to school age.		Playgrounds Stonnington has many playgrounds in a variety of sizes and locations for children up to 12 years old.
	Neighbourhood Houses a place for people to come together and connect with other residents.		Playgroups Meet new people, gain support and exchange parenting ideas, while their children socialise with others.

This guide contains information about services offered to children, young people and families in the Stonnington area. Listings include: services offered by council, Maternal Child Health Centres, Childcare Centres, as well as listings of Kindergartens, Schools and a broad range of family support services.
