Multi Agency Liquor Taskforce

Project MALT (Multi Agency Liquor Taskforce) is a 12-month pilot program which aims to combine and coordinate visits to licensed premises by regulatory agencies to ensure all venues are safe environments for staff and patrons. The project is being piloted in the Cities of Stonnington and Bendigo.

Agencies include:

• Victoria Police;
• Responsible Alcohol Victoria;
• WorkSafe Victoria;
• Metropolitan Fire Brigade;
• Country Fire Authority;
• Environment Protection Authority; and the
• Victorian Taxi Directorate.

For licensed venues this is business as usual. But rather than receiving separate visits from each agency, the agencies will visit your venue together, twice throughout the pilot period.
