The City of Stonnington offers a fortnightly kerbside recycling collection.

Lightbulb and Fluorescent Tube Recycling
Lightbulbs, including incandescent, compact fluorescent, downlight and fluorescent tubes can be recycled at the Stonnington Waste Transfer Station. By recycling you are preventing toxic mercury from potentially entering waterways and forests. Visit the Stonnington Waste Transfer Station page to find out Depot opening times and fees.
Household Battery Recycling
The City of Stonnington provides battery recycling drop-off points in a number of convenient locations. These are:

Computer recycling
Residents can use the Byteback Computer Equipment Recycling Program which operates year-round at venues throughout Victoria. Our closest location is at the Boorondara Transfer Station in Riversdale Road, Camberwell

Cleanaway
Cleanaway is Council’s kerbside recycling contractor. Materials are collected by Cleanaway and sent to the Polytrade Materials Recovery Facility for sorting and reprocessing.
