Who is Soundslike Productions

The Soundslike Productions crew is made up of young people between the ages of 14 and 25 from the local area that are passionate about planning and producing positive all ages music, artistic & cultural events for young people within the City of Stonnington.

Each year, Soundslike Productions participate in various events and workshops including:

  • FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands
  • The annual Viva Youth Festival
  • The family friendly Phoenix Skate Park Jam
  • The Push stage at the prestigious St Kilda festival
  • Music industry workshops
  • Industry training for committee members

Soundslike Productions is currently recruiting new members

As a member of Soundslike Productions Committee, you can:

  • Develop experience in organising music and cultural events
  • Gain event management skills through practice and training
  • Develop fantastic contacts in the music industry
  • Meet people with similar interests in music and youth culture
  • Further your skills in organisation, time management, public speaking and  team work

The committee meet weekly on a Wednesday afternoons from 4.30pm-6.30pm at Stonnington Youth Services in Prahran.

Bands, Artists & Designers

We are always on the lookout for new local up and coming bands, artists, fashion designers, graphic designers and web designers.

Bands - If your band would like to be considered for future gigs complete the Artist Registry Form and we'll keep you in consideration for future gigs **

Artists, fashion designers and others - we are often on the search of new talent for particular events. Keep an eye on this space or sign up to our mailing list to be informed when we are new opportunities arise

A little about FReeZAFreeze Logo

FReeZA is an innovative by youth for youth approach to youth development that gives Victorian's aged between 12 and 25 the chance to enjoy live band gigs, dance parties and other cultural, recreational and artistic events in supervised and safe venues.
The FReeZA program aims to create opportunities for young people to develop their skills and leadership abilities through organising music and cultural community events.

The City of Stonnington produces live music and cultural events with a funding contribution from the Department of Victorian Communities' Office for Youth.
