Our annual Spring Into Gardening event is held every year in October and and 2009 was another fantastic success with both gardeners and families soaking up the atmosphere. Spring into Gardening brings together a wide variety of community groups and businesses and along with childrens' activities and fabulous food, the day provides plenty of inspiration for gardeners and a wonderful day out for everyone.
Spring Into Gardening 2009 focused on sustainable gardening once again and showcased a variety of activities and programs residents can participate in to make their gardens and overall lifestyle more sustainable and ecological. ABC Radio 774's Carolyn Blackman was also there to provide gardeners with advice on caring for their plants.
