Symphony Under The Stars
Febraury 2009
Stonnington Symphony's 2009 Symphony under the Stars concert was our most exciting yet! A huge crowd watched and listened as brilliant young conductor Raymond Yong lead the orchestra through a celebration of nature including Mendelssohn's timeless overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream and the playful Children's Games suite of Bizet. The highlight was the renowned singer/songwriter Deborah Conway performing with the orchestra. There was something for everyone this year as the orchestra took the audience on a journey through great classics and music for film - an amazing night of wonderful music under the stars.
