Join Iain Ames and Adam De Zoete, the City of Stonnington's 'gardeners at large', for practical advice on caring for your Victorian and Edwardian-style gardens. Learn which plants to use for maximum design and minimal environmental impact and discover drought-proofing solutions for the dry summer months ahead.
The first ten bookings will receive a small plant on the day so book now!

Lester Devere brings an antiques roadshow to Stonnington Library!
Join Lester as he shares candid and insider stories about Melbourne's antique trade. Discover the joys and pitfalls of buying at auction and learn how to get reputable valuations for your objects. Take advantage of Lester's twenty-five years of knowledge and experience and bring along an object or collectible you've always wondered about for a free valuation.

Jewish Cooking, Jewish Cooks with Ramona Koval

Food for thought...
Ramona Koval shares more than her collection of kosher recipes from around the world in Jewish Cooking, Jewish Cooks. She also shares a collection of personal, familial and cultural stories, reminisces and experiences, all of which revolve, like much of Jewish life and traditions, around food and family gatherings.
Ramona Koval presents and produces 'Books and Writing', Australia's foremost national literary radio program, and co-presents 'Australia Talks Books', the biggest book club in the country, on ABC Radio National. She is a columnist for The Weekend Australian newspaper and the author of several books.

The program is aimed at children aged 2-5 years. It introduces children to books and libraries in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Storytime sessions feature new and classic stories, rhymes, poetry, songs and simple art and craft activities.

Read and Grow - Baby Storytime
For babies 4-18 months
Read and Grow Baby Storytime is an enjoyable, small-group reading program for babies.
Learn how to use nursery rhymes, songs, rhythm and re-reading to help you and your baby enjoy books together. Over three fun sessions, share reading with your baby and meet new friends too.
You will also discover how to choose the best baby books.
When and where is Read and Grow - Baby Storytime held?
- All sessions run from 11-11:45am.
- Bookings are essential and can be made from the first of the month prior.
- Please contact the library branch of your choice to book.
