Register your new pet

All cats and dogs in Stonnington are required by law to be registered. A Local Law Permit is required to keep more than three dogs or two cats at a property.

If your animal is not registered please download the Animal Registration form then print and complete and take to one of Council's Service Centres listed below with the fee and appropriate paperwork.

Please note:
From 1 May 2007 all animals that are newly registered with City of Stonnington must be microchipped. Any queries regarding registration and microchipping contact Council's Service Centre on 8290 1333.
