Arts and Cultural Sponsorship Program  Polyglot Checkout!

Grant Applications for the 2009/2010 have now been announced


This funding is for projects and programs that will be completed by 30 June 2010. Successful applicants have now been notified. Successful Applicants include: Polyglot Theatre, Stonnington Symphony, Somebodys Daughter Theatre Company, The Butterfly Foundation, Clay for Kids program by The Duldig Studio, Short and Sweet Theatre, NICA and National Trust exhibition at Como House to name a few. A full list of the 2009/2010 recipients can be found at the link above.

Successful Arts and Cultural Sponsorship Grants for 2008/2009 round can be viewed at the link above with a full list of recipients. 

The Grants are for projects that were completed by 30 June 2009. Programs being funded for the 2008/2009 round included: Theatre Organ Society of Australia - performances for children, The Butterfly Foundation - Expression Fashion Gala for young people, National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) - community circus workshops, please see link above for more details. This year City of Stonnington has supported over 30 projects for the First Round grants including expansion of already proven programs such as the Stonnington Youth Jazz Initiative and The Duldig Studio's Clay for Kids workshops at local primary schools.

Council has also provided funding to new projects including the National Trust's exhibition at Como House Elegance - Robert Fritzlaff 1950-1970, the Human Sacrifice Theatre Company's presentation of A Streetcar Named Desire at Chapel Off Chapel and 3MBS Cry Baby Classical Concerts for babies, toddlers and their carers.
