Animal Registration Renewal Payments
All cats and dogs in Stonnington are required by law to be registered. A Local Law Permit is required to keep more than three dogs or two cats at a property.
The City of Stonnington's payment options for animal registration renewals have recently changed. Animal registrations for the animal year 2009/10 can be paid by the following options. Please ensure you read the Important Information at the bottom of this page before making payment.
eServices - direct payment to the City of Stonnington
This payment option is for any Stonnington resident wishing to pay Animal Registration Renewals direct to the City of Stonnington using a credit card only (Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Diners). Payments can be made using the Animal Number on your notice form. If paying for more than one animal this service offers an easy to use add-on option.
Australia Postbillpay
This payment option is via Australia Post for credit card payments only (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards). If you own more than one animal please pay each registration separately to ensure your payment is matched up with your animal's account.
Commonwealth Bank - BPoint
This payment option is for those animal owners that have a renewal notice showing the BPoint Biller Code of 20214.
Important information:
Only animal registration renewals for the animal year 2009/10 may be paid through these systems.
From 1 May 2007 all animals that are newly registered with Council must be microchipped. For further information contact Council's Service Centre on 8290 1333.
If you do not receive your animal's 2009/10 registration renewal notice before 1 April 2009 please contact Council's Service Centre on 8290 1333.
