Stonnington Spring Fashion Runway
Congratulations all round on the outstanding success of the inaugural Stonnington Spring Fashion Runway which drew in excess of 900 to the Malvern Town Hall across October 8 and 9.
The Town Hall got a stylish catwalk makeover for the Precincts Runway Show, a partnership between Council and four local Business Associations. Over fifty designers and retailers from Chapel Street, Toorak Road South Yarra, High Street Armadale and Toorak Village came together to showcase the best of their Spring/Summer fashion collections, the shows providing both a glittering evening event and a lunch-time reprise.

Panellists from State government, media and retail plus lively audience participation created the perfect environment to explore and share business opportunities.
Finally, on Thursday evening over 350 people attended what was a spectacular Stonnington Fashion Hall of Fame celebration. Chapel Street retail legend Joe Sillitto and outstanding designer Teresa Liano of TL WOOD fame were inducted to the Hall of Fame in a wonderful ceremony and the audience was treated to a preview of the new TL WOOD Spring/Summer collection. .
The evening kicked off with the Stonnington precincts providing a stunning fashion parade by four of their emerging young designers that confirmed the future of Australian and Stonnington fashion design is in safe hands.
