New Prahran Library to open soon

Sketch_new_Prahran_Library

From Daniel Freer - Manager, Leisure and Libraries

"The redevelopment of the new Prahran Library is soon to be completed. The Prahran Town Hall has undergone significant restoration of the heritage-listed interior to its former glory. I have visited the site many times and have been awestruck by the detail of this work. I hope you will be equally impressed."

The existing library will close from 15 July with the new library to open in mid August. This will provide us with sufficient time to relocate the collection and establish our IT and operating systems.

Some disruption to services at the Prahran Library will occur during the relocation. For more details, follow this link to our Prahran Library Relocation News page for more information.

Please visit this site or telephone 8290 1333 for updates.
