If you are considering shooting in Stonnington (feature film, television, TVC, music video, student film or stills) you will need to contact the City of Stonnington Service Centre on 8290 1333.

While a permit may not be required to shoot on private property, notifying Council of your proposed activity is essential. Parking permits maybe required for essential vehicles in restricted parking zones (48 hours notice is required for the processing of parking permit applications).

Stonnington Officers can assist in the application process for shooting on Council land (roads, footpaths etc). Ten days notice is required and fees may apply. If your application also requires a Traffic Management Plan, please ensure that you submit that plan along with the application ten days prior to filming.
