Councillor Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct for Councillors sets out to strengthen the working relationships between Councillors.

Together with other Council Policies, Council's Local Law, the Local Government Act 1989 and the Good Governance Guide 2004 it recognises that the establishment of good working relationships between Councillors and also with Officers is the basis for a solid and effective team, to represent the community and provide leadership and guidance for the future of the municipality.
