Episode 3 - Daniel Stewart and Matt Thomas - Bodyfit South Yarra and Prahran

Originally known as Gymmy Squatz, Body Fit Training has come a long way since launching in 2016. This group training program focuses on strength and conditioning through scientifically proven 50 minute workouts, overseen by accredited trainers. Body Fit has two studios in Stonnington, one in River Street, South Yarra and the second in Chapel Street, Prahran. Daniel and Matt both have an AFL background and have brought their knowledge and education to motivate and inspire their clients.

Mr. Miyagi’s approach to Japanese dining is nothing short of spectacular. Offering an original dining experience, Mr. M knows one option is never enough, so has three dining experiences to make any occasion extra special.

Kristian and Emma chat about the current hospitality climate and how Mr. Miyagi has adapted to restaurant restrictions and turned to take away to keep his business at the forefront of Japanese cuisine in Melbourne.

Economic profile provides an interactive understanding of Stonnington’s workforce characteristics, industry contributions, the role of the visitor economy and trends in the local economy.

Community profile is based on results from 2016 Census of Population and Housing. This profile is updated with population estimates when the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) releases new figures.

Precinct profiles

Each year, we visit over 1,000 ground floor businesses across our five major retail precincts. These visits provide us with information such as vacancies and changes to businesses which help us monitor trends and assist with strategic planning. This data is complemented by annual pedestrian counts to better understand the way precincts function.

Australian Small Business Advisory Services

We support the Australian Small Business Advisory Services Digital Solutions program to provide targeted mentoring and advice to help small businesses succeed and grow.

Small businesses with fewer than 20 full-time (or equivalent) employees, and sole traders, can access one-on-one sessions and group workshops at a subsidised price.

This service is a great opportunity to learn from experienced advisors who understand your business needs and can help you grow your digital capabilities.
