Seeking feedback on people’s experiences with the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of delivering services and support to people living with permanent disability in Australia.

This has been a major change for people living with disability, their carers and family members and there have been transitional problems as people, service providers and all levels of government adjust and we want to learn from people how they’ve found the change and new system.

This survey is an opportunity for people to share experiences about the NDIS. We’re keen to hear from people who live, work or regularly visit Stonnington, who are carers and family members of people who have been involved in assisting people to access services through the NDIS.

Responses are anonymous and will be shared with the National Disability Insurance Agency, the Malvern NDIS Local Area Coordinator, service providers and the Access Stonnington Committee – who provide Council with feedback and advice on live in Stonnington for people with disability.

What you tell us will help us to advocate on behalf of people living with disability.

Complete our survey before 25 November to have your voice heard.

About the NDIS

The NDIS has had a staggered rollout across Australia since 2016, and was available to people living in Stonnington in April 2018. This is an important transformation for Australia, as the NDIS provides people with disability choice over how, when and where they receive supports.
