History

This reserve, at 76-78 Hornby Street, Windsor, was previously known as the Ann/Earl Streets Park. It was created in stages as Prahran Council purchased and then demolished a group of mostly weatherboard houses in Ann, Earl and Hornby Streets between 1975 and 1981. It was refurbished and re-opened under its new name in 1983, in recognition of Harry Gregory, a former Prahran Councillor (1976/77-1982/83) and Mayor (1980/81), who passed away earlier that same year. The Rotary Club of Prahran donated money towards equipment and trees at the time.
