Our strength and balance training classes are about developing healthier habits, such as cardio standing exercises, strengthening and conditioning floor work for legs and torso, stretch and weight training.
We learn topics such as cardiovascular fitness 'Huff and Puff', stretch, and muscle development.
We learn how to identify the action movement and how it most benefits our bodies. The skills we develop are for strength and conditioning of the whole body, as well as maintaining a positive and healthier lifestyle. You will enjoy connecting with like minded exercise participants, making positive exercise choices and feeling positive in the company of others.
In this free taster class you will learn the basic exercise but have the opportunity to modify it or challenge the intensity, depending on your ability.
The class is taught by Tania, who has a Bachelor of Education in Dance, Media and Drama from Deakin University.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a drink bottle.
