A carer is someone who provides unpaid care and support to family members and/or friends with a disability, mental illness, chronic health issue or an older person with care needs.

Throughout the pandemic you may have found yourself acting as a carer for the first time, or perhaps your existing responsibilities intensified with the new challenges posed by the pandemic.

Carers often put the needs of others before their own and find it difficult to look after themselves. We want to help carers improve their self-care by giving you some time-out.

We invite all carers to a free online session by Tania Daniels, Carer and Community Educator at Carers Victoria.  In this interactive session, Tania will discuss how to overcome barriers to self-care and provide space for participants to explore their experiences and learnings from the pandemic.
