Our buildings remain closed, Click and Collect is available
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, all library buildings and the Stonnington History Centre remain closed to visitors from Friday 6 August.
Click and Collect
Our Click and Collect service is available at Malvern, Phoenix Park, Prahran Square and Toorak/South Yarra Libraries.
Please call us to arrange a time to collect your allocated reservations.
You will be notified by email when your items are ready for collection.
When you visit to pick up or return items, please wear a face mask and observe social distancing (1.5m).
Return chutes will remain open. Items currently on loan will have due dates extended and reserved items will not expire during this time. Overdue charges do not apply.
Vulnerable Communities Library Delivery Service
If you're a vulnerable resident of Stonnington, you could have library items brought to you.
Vulnerable community members can be:
- over 65 and with little support
- living with disability or a caring for someone who is
- a single parent family
- having mental health issues
- socially isolated because of living arrangements, or
- in financial hardship.
If you're in one of these situations and want library items delivered, apply for our Vulnerable Communities, Library Delivery Service.

Our upcoming events and programs continue to be delivered via Zoom. Visit our Library at HOME events and programs.
Our eLibrary services are still available. Explore our collections of eBooks, eAudiobooks, downloadable magazines and music as well as streaming of documentaries, films and music.
