Scratch Coding for Kids - Animation
This Scratch Animation project will provide you with an in depth understanding of the costume tab, animating a sprite, controlling a sprite’s movement, and adding sound to a project. In this project we will code a simple animation where a sprite will walk across the screen when the left and right arrow keys are pressed. A song will also play in the background.
If you want to save your work you will have to join scratch, which is free. Just press the ‘join scratch’ tab in the top right and sign up. This is not necessary however to use the program.
