Creative Kids Club at HOME

During this session we will play an assortment of fun games, plus test our general knowledge with a game of trivia.

There are no special materials required for this session. 

During this session we will be conducting a fun and easy science experiment that explores weather.

To try the Rain Cloud in a Jar experiment at home you will need the following materials:

• clear glass jar or cup
• shaving cream
• food colouring (blue food colouring is ideal but any colour will do)
• plastic spoon or pipette
• cold water

During this session we will be building a tower using marshmallows and toothpicks. To join in the challenge at home you'll need a packet of marshmallows and box of toothpicks.

During this session we will be building a marble run made out of paper straws.

Supplies required for this session:

• straws, preferably paper and in different colours
• PVA glue
• a marble
• a large piece of cardboard.

During this session we will be making a thaumatrope , an optical toy that was popular in the 1800s. 

Supplies required for this session:

• white cardstock paper
• pencils, grey lead and coloured pencil
• tape
• scissors
• glue and
• a straw, preferably paper
