Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, our buildings are closed. Click and Collect is available and items can be returned. Programs and events have moved online until restrictions ease. Home delivery is available for eligible members of our community.

All libraries and the Stonnington History Centre are closed on Friday 24 September for the Friday before the AFL Grand Final Public Holiday.

The Stonnington History Centre is open for phone/email enquiries and pre-booked visits. View hours, services and conditions of entry.

The Stonnington History Centre is a branch of the Stonnington Library and Information Service and is housed at Northbrook, located behind Malvern Library.

We run an exciting exhibition and events program aimed at adults and school children, and occasional tours of the building. History Matters is a series of free seminars on a range of history topics led by members of our Stonnington History Centre team and industry experts.
