Join us at Central Park, Malvern East, for the City of Stonnington’s annual Pets in the Park on Sunday 24 March 2019.

The City of Stonnington Mayor Cr Steve Stefanopoulos said the family-friendly event is not to be missed for pet owners.

“The highly anticipated free, family-friendly event, draws pet lovers in their thousands for interactive demonstrations; Q&A sessions; informative presentations; and market stalls; all in the name of responsible pet ownership,” said Cr Stefanopoulos,

“Network Ten’s weather man Mike Larkan will return as host and will be joined by animal expert Dr Melissa Meehan and animal behaviourist Lara Shannon with her pooch Dynamite Darcy, who you may have seen on Network 10’s Pooches at Play.”

For those who like the more scaly pets, The RooKeepers, will have wildlife encounters where you can meet dingoes, snakes, possums and even baby crocodiles.

Our friend Axle the Fidget Spinning Staffy will be on hand to assist in judging the Superstar Competition sponsored by PETstock.

Expect the playful opportunity for your hound to take part in amateur racing with the lovable and dynamic Jack Russell Terrier Racing Team.

There will be an interactive showcase in the demonstration arena including the high bar jump, and the UpDog Frizgility and Canine Frisbee

Pets in the Park is held in conjunction with Chadstone/East Malvern Rotary Club Tastes of France, featuring vintage cars, great food and rides for children.

Friendly pets are welcome to attend, secured on lead at all times and pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets.
