Stonnington sits on the land of the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. The City of Stonnington respects the special relationship Indigenous Australians have with the land, and acknowledges their right to live according to their own values and customs, subject to Australian law.

Join us at Chapel Off Chapel in Prahran for a NAIDOC Week exhibition of artworks created by young people from schools across Stonnington under the mentorship of local Indigenous artists.

Gathering under the NAIDOC Week theme for 2019 of ‘Voice. Treaty. Truth.’ a Welcome to Country and traditional Smoking Ceremony will open the exhibition on Friday 12 July from 5 – 7pm.

Artworks will be on display and available to purchase.

Opening times

  • Friday 12 July 5 – 7pm (opening event)
  • Saturday 13 July 12 – 5pm (exhibition only)
  • Sunday 14 July 12 – 5pm (exhibition only)

The Friday evening opening event is a no-alcohol event with catering provided, both the opening event and exhibition are free to visit.
