We’ve entered February but that doesn’t mean Stonnington’s calendar of events for the warmer months is slowing down.
Our Classics season is back with shows at Ardrie Park on Saturday 9 February and Malvern Gardens on Saturday 23 February, visit stonnington.vic.gov.au/classics for more information.
In March our annual Flavours festival in Prahran’s Grattan Gardens will celebrate culture, traditions and heritage from around the globe with a day of live music, performances, cooking demonstrations, food, craft stalls and kids’ activities. Visit stonnington.vic.gov.au/flavours for details.
Cr Melina Sehr spoke to us late last year for InStonnington about Stonnington’s calendar of events and her love for the iconic Prahran Market.
“We do our best as Councillors to make this City a wonderful place for everyone to live,” said Cr Sehr – inviting residents to be in touch with any feedback, suggestions or concerns they may have.
Of course, no summer is complete without shopping at Prahran Market, for a colourful range of quality foods from all over the world.
“You’ll find an exciting choice of produce to make the summer BBQ season special,” said Cr Sehr.
Prahran Market hosts a number of events, as well as regular entertainment, classes and music. The Wicked Dessert Festival isn’t far away and a public art installation will be on display during National Diversity Week in March. Visit prahranmarket.com.au/whats-on for more information.
