Like everyone, we have been monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The City of Stonnington is working with the Department of Health and Human Services as they work to ensure the health and safety of Victorians. We support the Victorian Government’s declaration of a four week State of Emergency to assist in slowing the spread of Coronavirus. With this in mind, we have made some changes to our aged services:
- Assessment services to be replaced with phone assessments until Monday 13 April, with the possibility of this being extended.
- At this stage, our home care, personal care, personal care, delivered meals services and home maintenance programs will continue.
For up-to-date details, visit our Community information – Coronavirus page.
We provide a range of services in the home and within the community for:
- frail, older people
- people with a disability
Our aim is to help you remain living independently in your home and active in the community.
Stonnington Aged Services recognises and values our community’s diversity, and is committed to providing safe and inclusive services equitably to all our residents.
We are accredited under the Rainbow Tick standards for inclusive services to residents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI).
The services we provide are jointly funded by the City of Stonnington and the Commonwealth and Victorian governments under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home and Community Care (HACC) Program.
