Ideas sought on Affordable Housing

Published on 18 November 2020

We want to hear your ideas about how housing in Stonnington could be made affordable to a broad range of people - to foster diversity and inclusiveness in our community.

In August 2020, Council endorsed for consultation an Affordable Housing Discussion Paper that poses a number of questions to help us better understand your thoughts and ideas on ways to introduce Affordable Housing options in the municipality.

To share your ideas we encourage you to participate in one of two online forums, complete an online survey and add your suggestions to an online ideas board.

The one-hour online forums titled ‘Ask an Expert and Share your Thoughts’ and will be attended by Affordable Housing expert and consultant, Rachel Hornsby.  The forums will be held on:

Friday 11 December (11am to 12pm)
Tuesday 15 December (6.30 to 7.30pm)

To get the most out of the community forums, we recommend you read the Affordable Housing Discussion Paper before registering to attend.

To view the Affordable Housing Discussion Paper, register for a forum, share an idea or complete the online survey visit the Connect Stonnington engagement hub

The Affordable Housing engagement will close on Friday 18 December.
