NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEASE

Stonnington City Council (Council) gives notice under section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with Icon Co (Aust) Pty Ltd in respect of the whole of the land contained in certificate of title 10179 folio 057 and known as 6 Almeida Crescent, South Yarra, comprising an area of approximately 290 square metres, on the terms set out below (Proposal):  

  1. a term of 10 months commencing on 4 February 2021 (the proposed lease is a renewal of an existing short term lease expiring on 3 February 2021); and
  2. an annual rent based on the market rental value of the premises.

A person may make a written submission on the Proposal in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Any person proposing to make a submission under section 223 of the Act must do so by Wednesday 25 November, 2020. Please note that any submissions received may be made available for the public record.

Written submissions that meet the requirements of this notice will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on his or her behalf, and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
